Two black DDR5 memory modules with low-profile heatsinks

G.SKILL

G.SKILL F5-6000J3040G32GX2-RS5K 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 desktop RAM

SKU CH-FWCN-5WG2V MPN F5-6000J3040G32GX2-RS5K

A 64 GB dual-channel kit with two 32 GB DDR5 modules running at 6000 MHz CL30 and 1.40 V

  • 64 GB capacity lets you run heavy workloads and multitask smoothly
  • 6000 MHz speed delivers high data throughput for responsive performance
  • CL30 latency with 30-40-40-96 timings reduces delay for snappy operation
  • 40 V operating voltage enables stable high-frequency operation
  • Dual-channel 2 × 32 GB kit maximises memory bandwidth for desktop systems

Ripjaws S5 64GB Kit

The G.SKILL Ripjaws S5 kit delivers 64GB of DDR5 desktop memory in a dual-channel 2x32GB configuration. Rated at 6000MHz with CL30 latency, it targets enthusiasts and professionals who need high capacity and responsive throughput for demanding workloads.

Upgrade from lower-capacity DDR5

Moving up from a 32GB kit removes the capacity ceiling that forces swapping during heavy multitasking, content creation, or virtualization. The jump is worth it when projects exceed 32GB of active memory and you want headroom without populating four slots.

Sustained load behaviour

Operating at 1.40V with timings of 30-40-40-96, the modules maintain their rated frequency during extended sessions. The low-profile black heatsink helps dissipate heat so performance stays consistent when all 64GB are under continuous pressure.

Questions about this item

What slot type does the 32 GB DDR5 module require?

It installs in a standard desktop DDR5 DIMM slot; the 30 mm height clears most CPU coolers.

How do I enable the 6000 MHz CL30 profile and what step is often missed?

Enable the XMP or EXPO profile in BIOS; the step many miss is saving and rebooting so the 1.40 V setting takes effect.

When should the 64 GB kit be replaced?

Replace the modules if memory diagnostics report uncorrectable errors or the system fails to hold the rated 30‑40‑40‑96 timings.
