Desk coverage and layout

The Galdas oversize mouse pad measures 31.5 by 11.8 inches with a 0.12 inch thickness, covering a broad desktop area. Its XXL footprint accommodates a keyboard, mouse and smaller accessories in one continuous surface. The Green Forest print uses high-definition thermal transfer for sharp detail.

Surface feel and base grip

A smooth rubber top layer provides consistent glide and control for optical or laser sensors. The natural rubber non-slip substrate anchors the mat firmly during rapid movements. Lock-stitch edging prevents fraying or deformation over extended use.

Maintenance and limits

The water-resistant surface can be cleaned with common detergents without damaging the print. Buyers who need a smaller desk footprint or a hard plastic surface for maximum speed will not be served by this cloth-style pad. The 95 percent colour accuracy note reflects monitor calibration variance.

Questions about this item

How thick is the pad and will it compress after months of daily use?

The pad is .12 in (3 mm) thick and uses a natural rubber base that resists permanent compression under normal desk loads.

Does the rubber base emit any smell or heat when the desk warms up during long sessions?

The natural rubber substrate is low-odour and does not generate heat; it simply insulates the desk from the surface.

What desk dimensions are needed so the 31.5 x 11.8 in mat lies flat without overhang?

A flat area at least 31.5 in wide by 11.8 in deep is required; the non-slip base keeps it in place on most hard or laminate tops.
