Compact Tenkeyless Layout

The GAMDIAS HERMES E7 uses an 80% tenkeyless form factor that removes the numeric pad to free desk space for mouse movement. Its gunmetal-finished frame and matte black with royal blue PBT keycaps give a sleek, modern appearance suitable for gaming or work setups.

Hot-Swappable Gasket Upgrade

The 5-layer gasket structure and hot-swappable sockets let you change GAMDIAS Certified Mechanical Switches without soldering, so you can tune feel and sound or replace a worn switch. Red linear switches come pre-installed and are rated for 50 million key presses.

USB-C Wired Integration

A USB Type-C cable connects the keyboard directly to the PC, delivering power and data without a separate receiver. Per-key RGB backlighting and the dedicated volume knob provide lighting control and quick audio adjustment within the same compact footprint.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 80% tenkeyless layout require?

The tenkeyless design omits the numeric keypad, so the keyboard fits in a smaller footprint than a full-size board while keeping the main alphanumeric cluster.

How do I install replacement switches on the hot-swappable sockets?

Pull the existing switches straight out with a switch puller, align the new switch pins with the socket holes, and press down firmly until seated — do not force at an angle.

When will the PBT keycaps or GAMDIAS Certified Mechanical Switches need replacement?

The switches are rated for up to 50 million key presses, and the dual-colorway PBT keycaps resist shine far longer than ABS, so both typically last years under normal use.
