Elegant Peacock Ornament

This acrylic and zinc ornament from Ganz's Crystal Expressions Collection measures 4.5 inches in length and features a 3-inch loop for hanging. The design is colorful on one side with a solid metal back. Each of the two available designs is sold separately.

Display considerations

The acrylic construction may show small rough bumps or light scratches along the outer edge, known as mold marks. These are a normal and unavoidable part of the manufacturing process and are kept to a minimum. The solid metal back adds weight and stability when displayed.

Collectible nature

This ornament arrives new and is intended for decorative display or collecting. The single-sided coloration limits viewing angles to the front face. Buyers wanting double-sided artwork or a completely flawless acrylic surface should consider other decorative items.

Questions about this item

How do I hang the 4.5 in peacock ornament without bending the 3 in metal loop?

Thread ribbon through the fixed 3 in loop on the back and hang from a nail or hook; the loop is solid metal and does not open, so avoid forcing it sideways.

Will the green acrylic fade or need polishing over time?

The coloured acrylic side may show mould marks from manufacturing; dust gently with a soft cloth and keep out of direct sunlight to minimise any colour change.

At what point does the solid metal back become too heavy for a standard Christmas tree branch?

The ornament measures 4.5 in long with a solid metal back; test the branch first and use a sturdy limb or reinforced hook if the branch bends noticeably.
