5-inch Conduit Piston Pair

The Gardner Bender FC11 foam conduit piston is designed for pulling cable through 5-inch EMT, flexible, IMC, PVC or rigid conduit. Each pack contains two grey foam carriers measuring 11.25 inches overall length. The pistons work with Gardner Bender blower and vacuum units including the B60, BV208DA and JO225LC series. They suit electricians and low-voltage installers running pulls in large-diameter raceways.

Blower Compatibility and Conduit Fit

The pistons are built for 5-inch conduit sizes only and will not seal smaller diameters. They require a compatible Gardner Bender blower or vacuum such as the B60, BV208DA or JO225LC to generate pulling force. Without a matched blower unit the pistons cannot move cable through the run. The foam body conforms to conduit irregularities but depends on the blower for propulsion.

Two-Carrier Capacity for Standard Pulls

Two carriers come in the package, giving a spare for longer runs or a replacement if one tears. The 11.25-inch foam length and 11.3-inch width provide a broad seal surface in 5-inch conduit. For very long pulls or multiple bends, additional carrier sets may be needed. The foam material wears with heavy use and is not rated for tensile loads.
