Garmin Alpha 300 3.5 GPS navigation

Handheld GPS for multi-dog tracking

The Garmin Alpha 300 is a dedicated handheld device built for hunters and trainers managing up to 20 dogs at once. A 3.5 inch sunlight-readable capacitive touchscreen works alongside physical buttons so adjustments stay quick in the field. Preloaded TopoActive maps and a built-in 3-axis compass with barometric altimeter provide immediate navigation without a mobile signal.

Sustained tracking with satellite imagery

Compatible collars report positions from up to 9 miles away with a 2.5-second update rate that holds steady during long hunts. Dog list and group management store non-paired collar data locally, reducing re-pairing time each session. An optional Outdoor Maps+ subscription delivers premium mapping layers and refreshed satellite imagery wirelessly whenever the unit connects to a network.
