Handheld tracker for 20 dogs

The Garmin Alpha 300 Handheld is a GPS navigation device built for hunters and trainers who monitor multiple dogs. It pairs with compatible collars to track up to 20 animals simultaneously from a single unit. The system includes the Alpha TT25 collar for immediate deployment in the field. Users manage tracking and training functions through a dedicated interface.

Nine-mile range and channel management

Practical tracking range extends up to 9 miles depending on terrain and collar compatibility. The device operates on individual channels identified by unique IDs to maintain signal clarity. Users can monitor local channel concentration and switch to less congested options to prevent interference. Satellite imagery downloads provide terrain insight without requiring a cellular connection.

55-hour user-replaceable battery

The handheld runs on a user-replaceable battery rated for up to 55 hours of operation between changes. This single figure determines whether the unit can cover multi-day hunts without carrying charging gear. Training features include 18 stimulation levels plus tone and vibration commands. The 3.5-inch touchscreen and six-button layout support glove use in wet or cold conditions.
