Questions about this item

How do I install the Garmin Approach S70 47mm on my wrist and pair it with my phone?

Fasten the supplied strap so the optical heart-rate sensor sits snug against the top of your wrist, then open the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone and follow the on-screen pairing prompts.

What maintenance or replacement will the Approach S70 47mm need over time?

The rechargeable battery will gradually hold less charge after several hundred cycles; the silicone band may stretch or discolour with daily sweat and sunscreen exposure.

Which limit appears first during a long tournament day with GPS active?

GPS mode is rated for up to 20 hours, so battery depletion will arrive well before the 43,000 preloaded CourseView maps or the 1.4 AMOLED display reach any functional ceiling.
