Kids Smartwatch with Calling and Location

The Garmin Bounce 2 is a wearable built for children who need two-way calling, text messaging and real-time location tracking through the Garmin Jr. smartphone app. It includes activity tracking, preloaded sports apps, step counting and music playback on a bright AMOLED display. An active subscription and LTE connectivity are required for the communication and location features.

Setup Through Garmin Jr. App

Parents pair the watch and manage contacts, boundaries and chores using the Garmin Jr. smartphone app on a compatible phone. The assistance feature must be configured in advance so the child can trigger a live-location alert and call to family contacts. Battery life reaches up to two days, though connected feature use significantly reduces that figure and daily charging may be needed.

Check Subscription and Coverage Before Buying

An active subscription and LTE connectivity are required for calling, messaging, location tracking and music streaming. Verify that your area has adequate data network coverage for the assistance and live-location functions. The watch is swim-friendly, but buyers who need longer battery life without daily charging or who want a device that works without a recurring plan should consider other options.
