Garmin Bounce 2 for Kids

The Garmin Bounce 2 is a kids smartwatch that provides real-time location tracking, two-way calling and text messaging through the Garmin Jr. smartphone app. It features a bright AMOLED display, swim-friendly construction and preloaded sports apps with step tracking. An active subscription and LTE connectivity are required for connected features. Battery life reaches up to two days depending on usage.

Suits Parents Wanting Connected Safety

This watch suits parents who want to monitor their child's location, communicate via calls or messages and manage chores through a dedicated app. It is not for families unwilling to maintain an active subscription and LTE plan. Buyers needing longer battery life without daily charging or those wanting a device that works independently of a smartphone app should look elsewhere.

Check Phone Compatibility and Coverage

Before ordering, verify that your smartphone is compatible with the Garmin Jr. app for setup and ongoing management. Confirm that your mobile carrier provides LTE coverage in the areas where your child will use the watch. Ensure you are prepared to activate and maintain the required subscription for calling, messaging, tracking and music features.
