Mini GPS tracker for vehicles

The PG12-18 is a compact wireless locator designed for vehicle security and asset monitoring. It attaches via a built-in magnet so no installation tools are required. The device suits owners who want real-time position data without paying a recurring subscription fee. A free companion app provides track playback showing time, speed and location history.

Free app and magnetic mount change daily use

The included software eliminates monthly fees while delivering electronic-fence alerts and low-battery notifications sent automatically when power drops below 20 percent. Sound-activated recording starts when ambient noise exceeds 30 decibels and uploads clips to cloud storage. Magnetic adsorption lets the unit move between a car, an electric motorcycle or a pet collar in seconds.

Bluetooth link and coin-sized body set practical

Position updates and audio uploads rely on a Bluetooth connection to a paired phone, so range is limited to typical short-range wireless distances. The 2026 Summer Edition measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D and weighs 0.041 kilograms, making it easy to conceal but restricting antenna gain. Users needing satellite messaging or global coverage without a phone nearby will find this approach insufficient.

Questions about this item

How often will the PG12-18's battery need recharging under normal use?

The built-in high-energy lithium battery provides long standby time; when power drops below 20% the device automatically sends a low-battery alarm to the app to remind you to recharge via Micro-USB.

What is the first limitation reached during continuous tracking with the PG12-18?

Battery capacity is the limiting factor; the tracker runs until the internal lithium cell reaches the 20% threshold, then requires a Micro-USB recharge before further use.

Does the PG12-18 generate noticeable heat or noise when left running all day?

The coin-sized tracker has no fan or moving parts and operates silently; its low-power Bluetooth receiver and passive magnetic mount produce negligible heat during extended use.
