Compact GPS Tracker for Everyday Use

The Garmin TG03 is a lightweight GPS accessory that attaches to keys, bags, collars or a vehicle. It sends location data to a smartphone app over Bluetooth without a SIM card or recurring subscription. The IP67-rated plastic housing resists dust and water during daily commutes, pet walks or travel. It suits anyone who wants simple, contract-free tracking for valuables, children or pets.

Replaces Subscription-Based Trackers

This device removes the monthly fees and SIM management required by cellular trackers. The jump is worthwhile when you only need proximity-based updates through a paired phone rather than independent wide-area reporting. It does not suit users who need live tracking beyond Bluetooth range, such as fleet managers monitoring vehicles across a city or hikers in remote areas without a phone nearby.

Bluetooth Range and Phone Dependency

Location refreshes depend entirely on the smartphone connection, so tracking stops when the tracker moves out of Bluetooth reach. The app provides email alerts, but there is no built-in cellular, Wi-Fi or satellite fallback. Battery life varies with update frequency; the 1 Wh cell supports long standby but cannot be swapped in the field. Buyers needing continuous global coverage or geofencing without a phone nearby should look elsewhere.
