Pocket-Size Ballistic Chronograph

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro is a compact GPS tracking device that measures projectile velocities from 100 fps to 5,000 fps. It captures data for bullets, arrows, bolts, slugs, birdshot, paintballs and airsoft BBs. The unit fits in a back pocket and operates via a simple button interface with a backlit display. Shooters set it up by pointing the device and firing within roughly 15 inches.

ShotView App Integration

Pairing with the ShotView smartphone app enables shot tracking and deviation measurement for detailed shooting analysis. The app stores velocity data for each shot so users can compare performance across sessions. This wireless link replaces manual logging and helps refine loads or sight settings. No other software or accessories are included in the bundle.

For Range Shooters and Archers

This chronograph suits anyone who needs portable, suppressor-tolerant velocity data without a traditional sky-screen setup. It serves rifle, pistol, airgun and archery practitioners who value quick deployment. Buyers who require indoor benchrest mounting or optical sensor arrays should look at something else. Users needing environmental sensors or built-in ballistic solvers will not find those functions here.

Questions about this item

How often will the rechargeable battery need recharging during a full day at the range?

The lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 2,000 shots or 6 hours of continuous use before it requires recharging.

What is the maximum projectile speed the chronograph can measure before it stops registering?

The device measures velocities up to 5,000 fps; projectiles faster than that fall outside its detection range.

Does the IPX7 water-resistant housing keep the unit cool and quiet during extended sessions?

The chronograph has no fan and operates silently; heat buildup is minimal because the electronics draw very little power.
