Single-stage HVAC thermostat

The Garystat G701 is a non-programmable wall-mount control for conventional single-stage systems. It manages one heating and one cooling stage with gas, oil or electric furnaces and millivolt configurations. The large blue backlit LCD shows temperature and humidity for clear reading. It is not compatible with heat-pump, multi-stage, line-voltage or RV systems.

Bundled installation kit

The package includes an installation manual, cable labels, and two screws with anchors for wall mounting. A push-button interface provides separate controls for temperature set-point and fan mode selection. Humidity monitoring can be enabled or disabled via the menu described on page 17 of the manual. No external software or programming is required for operation.

Build and mounting

The unit measures 4.92 in by 3.74 in by 0.98 in with a blue housing and professional 24 relay contacts rated for 120/240 voltage. Wall-mount design suits standard residential wiring using the supplied hardware. Humidity display ranges from 10 to 99 %RH with ±5 %RH accuracy between 30 and 80 %RH. Temperature control holds within ±1 degree in both Fahrenheit and Celsius.
