Portable cooling for any setting

The Gazeled F15 is a 5-inch portable fan designed for camping, travel, office desks and bedroom use. It runs on four D-cell batteries or a USB connection, giving you flexible power options wherever you are. The 180-degree rotation head directs airflow exactly where you need it. A built-in timer offers one, three or five-hour shut-off settings for convenience.

Battery life by speed setting

The single figure that determines suitability is the runtime on your chosen speed. Low speed delivers 214 hours, medium provides 46 hours and high runs for 12 hours on fresh D-cells. The high setting requires a power source capable of supplying 1000 to 2000mA to operate correctly. Choose the speed that matches the duration you need between battery changes or USB power access.

Quiet operation and low power draw

Normal noise output is rated at 50dB, which is quiet enough for sleeping or working environments. The brushless motor consumes only 5 watts at 5 volts across all three speed settings. Current draw ranges from 80mA on low to 280mA on medium and 1000mA on high. This efficiency keeps batteries lasting longer and USB power banks running cool.

Questions about this item

How long will the 214-hour low-speed runtime actually last on a set of D cells?

The 214-hour figure is the manufacturer's low-speed estimate with fresh D-cell batteries; real-world life depends on battery chemistry and age.

What does the 5 V USB input limit in practice?

The USB-C port accepts 5 V power from banks, chargers or computers; high speed needs 1000-2000 mA, so a 1 A source may only sustain low or medium.

Will the 14.33-by-9.06-inch footprint fit my nightstand?

The unit measures 14.33 inches wide, 12.83 inches high and 9.06 inches deep; allow enough space around it for the head to pivot through its full 180-degree rotation.
