Royal Blue Camp Rocking Chair

The GCI Outdoor Pod Rocker with SunShade is a folding rocking chair built for adults who want a portable seat with a built-in canopy. It uses a powder-coated alloy steel frame and a structured sling-style seat. The chair supports up to 250 lbs and includes a side phone pocket plus a beverage holder.

UPF 50 Canopy and Spring Rocking

The integrated UPF 50 SunShade canopy provides shade while the patented Spring Action Rocking Technology delivers a smooth rocking motion on most outdoor surfaces. The seat height is 20.1 inches with a seat depth of 15 inches and a back height of 17.5 inches. The frame folds down to 7 x 9.8 x 40.2 inches and weighs 13.9 pounds for transport in the included carry bag.

Upgrade from Static Camp Chairs

This model replaces fixed-leg camping chairs when a rocking motion and integrated sun protection are priorities. The jump is worth it for users who attend sporting events, concerts or festivals and want a single chair that rocks, shades and folds into a compact bag. Buyers needing a lighter frame or a chair without a canopy should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Will the 250-pound capacity handle my gear plus me on a campsite?

The frame is rated for 250 lbs maximum; stay within that limit to avoid instability while rocking.

How can I confirm the Spring Action Rocking Technology is moving smoothly after I unfold it?

Sit down and rock gently — the chair should glide evenly on grass, dirt or hard floor without sticking or tipping.

Does the 13.9-pound folded bundle include the UPF 50 canopy and carry bag, or do I buy them separately?

Chair, integrated UPF 50 SunShade canopy and carry bag all come in the box; nothing extra is required.
