Devices it fits and devices it does not

The adapter works with iPod Classic, iPod Video, iPod Mini and iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation models produced after 2007. It will not work with iPods released before 2007, iPod Touch 1st or 2nd generation, iPod Nano 6th generation, iPod Mini 4 GB or iPod Classic 30 GB, 60 GB, 80 GB or 160 GB models. Some car stereos and speakers such as LG Sonos Move and Roam are also incompatible.
