GE 72762 25 W germicidal tube for sterilisation

The GE 72762 is a 25 watt linear tube that emits ultraviolet light for germicidal applications such as surface sterilisation and VOC control. It has an 18 inch length and a rated life of 8000 hours when operated under the correct electrical conditions.

Check G13 base and 46 V ballast compatibility

Verify that the fixture uses a G13 bi-pin base and supplies the required 46 volts from its ballast before ordering. The tube will not strike or reach full output if the ballast voltage or wiring does not match these specifications.

Questions about this item

Does the GE 72762 germicidal tube ship with a ballast or starter, or must they be purchased separately?

The GE 72762 is a bare 25 W T8 germicidal tube with a G13 base; ballast and starter are not included and must be sourced separately to match the 46 V operating voltage.

Should I choose the 18 inch 25 W version or a different length for my fixture?

Select the 18 inch 25 W model when your fixture accepts a T8 tube of that length and is rated for 46 V and 8000 h life; other lengths or wattages will not fit or operate correctly.
