48in T8 LED tube for fluorescent retrofit
Each 18 watt tube delivers 2650 lumens at 5000K cool white. The medium bi-pin G13 base matches standard four foot T8 fixtures. A case contains 20 tubes for larger relamping projects. They are designed as direct replacements for linear fluorescent lamps.
Type A plug and play with ballast dependency
Installation requires a compatible and functional LFL ballast already present in the fixture. No rewiring or driver installation is needed when the ballast works. The tubes will not operate in T5 or T12 fixtures. Ballast failure will stop the tubes from lighting.
18 watt draw replaces higher wattage fluorescents
Power consumption stays at 18 watts per tube during normal operation. The LED light source runs cooler than the fluorescent lamps it replaces. No fan or active cooling is used so operation is silent. Surface temperature remains low in typical ceiling mounted fixtures.

Questions about this item
Does the 18 W draw stay steady during continuous operation?
The tubes are rated at 18 watts and 2650 lumens; power consumption remains at that level while the compatible LFL ballast is functioning.
How warm does the 48 inch T8 tube get after hours of use?
LED tubes run cooler than fluorescent equivalents; the 18 W rating keeps heat output low during all-day operation.
Which ballast must already be in the fixture for these Type A tubes to light?
A compatible and functional LFL ballast is required; the tubes will not operate on T5 or T12 ballasts.
