480V Step-Down Transformer Ballast
The GE 99746 PROLINE unit is a non-isolated autotransformer designed for commercial and industrial lighting installations that need to convert 480V or 347V supply down to 277V or 120V for compatible ballasts and LED drivers. It is rated for dry or damp locations.
60 W Maximum Power at 277 V Output
The transformer delivers a maximum of 60 W (VA) when connected to 480 V or 347 V input and loaded at the 277 V output tap. Separate input leads are provided for the two primary voltages, so the installer must select the correct lead for the supply voltage present.
110 W Capacity at 120 V Output
When the 120 V output tap is used, the unit supports up to 110 W (VA) from either 480 V or 347 V input, giving additional headroom for lower-voltage lighting loads. The case temperature must not exceed 105 °C and the built-in thermal protection will interrupt operation if that limit is reached.

Questions about this item
Should I use the 60 W or 110 W rating for my fixture?
Choose 60 W when the transformer runs on 480 V or 347 V at the 277 V output tap, and 110 W when the same inputs drive the 120 V output tap.
What does the 277 V output mean once the unit is installed?
The transformer steps 480 V or 347 V mains down to 277 V RMS at 60 Hz for the connected lighting load.
How does the UL Listing differ from a UL Recognized component?
A UL Listed autotransformer does not require continuous updates to the fixture UL files, unlike a UL Recognized transformer.
