Room Temperature Sensor

The GE Lighting Cync Room Temperature Sensor measures temperature and humidity in real time. It pairs with the Cync Smart Thermostat, which is sold separately, to extend climate monitoring to additional rooms. The sensor helps eliminate hot and cold spots by providing localized data for more consistent comfort throughout the home.

Check Thermostat Compatibility

Verify that you already own or plan to purchase the Cync Smart Thermostat, as the sensor cannot function independently. Ensure the Cync app is installed on a compatible smartphone for setup and scheduling. No separate hub or bridge is required for out-of-home control, but the thermostat must be connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

Adds Room-Level Climate Control

This sensor upgrades a single-zone thermostat setup by adding room-specific temperature and humidity readings. The jump is worth it when bedrooms, offices, or other spaces consistently feel warmer or cooler than the main thermostat location. It replaces guesswork with automated schedule adjustments based on actual conditions in the rooms you occupy most.
