Wireless Light Socket Kit

The GE LSWRC2PT kit contains two remote-control light sockets that fit standard E26 or E27 lampholders. Each unit screws into an existing ceiling fixture and pairs with a handheld remote, letting users switch lights on or off without rewiring. The kit suits homeowners, renters and anyone with limited mobility who wants wall-switch convenience in closets, garages, attics or stairwells. No hub, driver or smartphone app is required for operation.

60 W Maximum Load

Each socket supports LED, CFL or incandescent lamps up to 60 watts on a 110-120 V AC supply. The remote transmits up to 50 ft in open areas and offers three preset timers of 15, 30 or 60 minutes that automatically cut power to the bulb. The controller requires two AAA batteries, which are not included in the package.

Fits Standard Fixtures

Installation takes minutes: screw the socket into the lampholder, insert a compatible bulb and mount the remote holder on any flat surface with the supplied hardware. The system frees you from pull chains and hard-to-reach switches while leaving the original wiring untouched. It does not support high-power tungsten, halogen or pet-heating bulbs, and it cannot dim connected lamps.
