Universal Soundbar Mount

The GE PGSM04B is a black metal wall bracket designed to hold soundbars weighing up to 15 lbs. It attaches to a TV wall mount, cart, floor stand or tabletop stand and works with screens under 83 inches in either above or below positions. The bracket measures 5.7912 cm deep by 31.496 cm wide by 37.9984 cm high and weighs 2.75 pounds.

Height Adjustment and Fit

Buyers who want tool-free 360° rotation and extendable arms to set the exact gap between TV and soundbar will appreciate the adjustable knobs. Installers who only have M4, M5 or M6 16 mm screws or key-hole bolts can use the included hardware. Builders needing support for heavier soundbars or screens larger than 83 inches with a below-TV mount should look at something else.

Weight Capacity Decides

The single specification that determines whether this bracket is the right part is the 15 lb maximum load rating. If your soundbar exceeds that figure, the mount will not provide reliable stability.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the PGSM04B generate when the soundbar is mounted all day?

The PGSM04B is a passive metal bracket with no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no heat and makes no sound while holding a soundbar continuously.

What screw sizes must I already have to attach my soundbar to this bracket?

The mount only accepts M4×16 mm, M5×16 mm, M6×16 mm or keyhole bolts, so you need to supply the matching screws for your soundbar.

Will the 37.9984 cm extension arms reach the mounting points on a TV larger than 83 inches?

For TVs above 83 inches the bracket length is insufficient, so the soundbar must be mounted above the screen rather than below it.
