What it is and who it serves

The GEARGADGET Starlume is a zoomable tactical flashlight built from T6063-T6 aviation aluminium and rated IPX-6 for water resistance. It suits outdoor workers, campers and emergency kits needing a single rugged light that can switch between flood and throw.

Capacity and headroom

The LED claims 90,000 lumens with a beam reaching up to 3,280 ft and covering 2,284 sq ft. Five modes include low, medium, high, SOS and strobe. Runtime spans 2 to 8 hours depending on mode, powered by one 26650 or 18650 cell charged via USB.

How it fits a build

The body measures 167 mm by 40 mm by 38 mm and weighs 207 g without a cell. Direct USB charging removes the need for a separate charger. Buyers who need a built-in power bank function or a magnetic tail cap will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Will the 150 lumen output on my existing 18650 battery match the claimed 90000 lumen rating?

The 90000 lumen figure is a peak claim; real-world output with an 18650 cell is approximately 150 lumens.

How do I verify the zoom and five-mode selector are functioning correctly after first charge?

Extend the head to zoom the beam from 200 to 500 metres, then single-click through Low, Medium, High, double-click for Strobe, and hold for SOS.

Does the package include a 26650 or 18650 cell and USB cable, or must I buy them separately?

The light accepts either 1×26650 or 1×18650 battery and charges via USB direct; cells and cable are not confirmed in the package contents.
