1:8 HDMI 2.0 Splitter

The Gefen EXT-UHD600-18 distributes one HDMI source to eight displays simultaneously. It is built for installers and integrators who need reliable 4K 60 Hz signal routing in commercial or residential AV systems.

600 MHz Bandwidth and 4:4:4 Chroma

The 600 MHz bandwidth supports 4096 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 colour sampling and HDR. It handles HDCP 2.2 and legacy HDCP 1.4 content, so protected 4K sources pass through without downscaling or subsampling.

Multichannel Audio and Stable Operation

The unit passes 7.1 channels of LPCM and high-bit-rate audio formats alongside the video signal. HDMI 2.0 compliance ensures consistent handshake performance across all eight outputs during normal use.

Questions about this item

Will the EXT-UHD600-18 pass 4K 60 Hz HDR from a new source to my older HDCP 1.4 displays?

Yes, the splitter supports both HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4, so it can bridge a new 4K 60 Hz HDR source to legacy displays that only handle HDCP 1.4.

How can I verify the EXT-UHD600-18 is delivering 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 and HDR to all eight outputs after installation?

The front-panel LEDs show link status for each output; check each display's on-screen information menu to confirm it is receiving a 4K 60 Hz signal with HDR active.

What cables and power items come with the EXT-UHD600-18 and what must I purchase separately?

The unit includes the splitter and its power supply; you will need to supply eight HDMI cables for the outputs and one for the input.
