GENERAL CABLE CAROL C4065A.41.10 Comm Cable Unshielded 22/8 1000 Ft

Communication cable for audio and control systems

This 1000 ft reel of CAROL C4065A.41.10 unshielded communication cable suits installers wiring audio systems, control circuits and general low-voltage links. It carries eight stranded 22 AWG conductors with S-R PVC insulation inside a gray PVC jacket. The construction meets NEC Article 800 CM commercial fire rating and a 300 V maximum voltage rating.

Unshielded design simplifies termination

Because the cable is unshielded there is no drain wire or foil to manage, so each of the eight conductors can be landed directly on terminals or punch-down blocks. The stranded 7-strand construction makes the wires easier to route around corners and through conduit than solid-core alternatives. The reel-in-a-box package pays out cleanly without tangling during long pulls.

Lightweight reel fits standard boxes but lacks

At 0.2 in outside diameter the cable pulls easily through typical raceways and electrical boxes, and the box packaging protects the reel on site. Installers must verify local code acceptance for unshielded CM-rated cable in their specific application, as some jurisdictions require shielded types for noise-sensitive circuits. The product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm, so appropriate handling precautions apply.
