A mains-rechargeable docking station that charges and stores up to six Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot robots, includes a USB cable and can be wall-mounted
This mains-rechargeable docking station charges and stores up to six Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot robots simultaneously. It is designed for classroom or group settings where multiple floor robots need to be kept ready for daily coding lessons. The unit can be wall-mounted to save bench space and keep the robots organised. No robots are included with the station.
The station runs from a mains supply via the included USB cable and charges up to six robots within half a day. Each robot then provides approximately four hours of normal use on a full charge. There are no user-serviceable battery hatches to open, so the unit operates without the noise or heat of individual battery swaps.
It replaces the need to charge each Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot separately with individual cables or disposable batteries. The jump is worth it when a class or club runs several robots at once and wants a single, tidy charging point that also serves as secure storage. Buyers who only have one or two robots will not need the six-slot capacity.

Connect the included USB cable to a mains USB power adapter, then place up to six robots into the slots so the charging contacts align; the step often missed is ensuring each robot clicks fully down into its slot so charging begins.
The station itself has no user-replaceable parts; maintenance is limited to keeping the charging contacts clean and replacing the USB cable if it becomes damaged.
The six-slot capacity is the first limit; only six Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot units can charge at once, so larger sets require staggered charging sessions.
