Island-themed coding mat for early learners
The General Manufacturing ITSMAT1 is a 75x75 cm vinyl playmat designed for children from 10 months. It provides a themed surface for use with Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot floor robots. The multicoloured island design encourages imaginative play while introducing basic programming concepts.
Limited to single-robot grid navigation
The mat works only with compatible floor robots that follow a grid-based movement system. It does not support electronic sensors, wireless connectivity or multi-robot interaction. The surface is passive vinyl, so all logic and power remain inside the robot itself.
Simple floor setup with flat-surface requirement
Unroll the mat on any clean, level floor and it is ready for use. No assembly, tools or calibration are needed. Wrinkles or uneven flooring can cause the robot wheels to slip, so the mat must lie completely flat for reliable movement.
