Compact Gaming Surface

This GENERIC mouse pad measures 9.84 by 7.84 inches with a .1 inch profile. The polyester surface is calibrated for both optical and laser mice, delivering consistent glide and accurate tracking for gaming or office tasks. A non-slip rubber base keeps the pad stationary during rapid movements. Anti-fray stitching reinforces the edges for long-term durability.

Desk-Bound Users Needing Basic Control

The letter-sized footprint suits compact desks, laptop trays or limited workspaces where a full-size mat would overhang. Competitive players who prefer low-friction speed surfaces or need extended area for sweeping arm motions should consider a larger pad. The fixed dimensions also rule out users wanting a combined keyboard-and-mouse mat.

Immediate Placement

Lay the pad flat on any clean, dry desk; the rubber base grips instantly without adhesives or setup time. If the surface arrives curled from packaging, press it down for a few minutes until it relaxes. Dust or liquid spills can reduce tracking accuracy, so wipe the polyester top with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before use.

Questions about this item

What type of mouse is required for the optimized textured surface to work properly?

The surface is calibrated for both optical and laser mice, so any standard gaming or office mouse using either sensor type will track reliably.

Will the 3 mm thickness raise the pad enough to clear a slightly uneven desk?

The 0.1 in profile is designed to eliminate uneven desk interference, providing a flat glide surface over minor surface irregularities.

How can I verify the anti-fray stitching is holding after extended use?

Inspect the stitched edges for loose threads or fraying; intact stitching with no visible wear confirms the pad is performing as intended.
