8.5 Inch LCD Drawing Tablet for Children

The Genialba 8.5 Inch Dinosaur LCD Drawing Tablet is a pressure-sensitive writing board designed for children aged three to six. It provides a green display area for drawing and writing without emitting blue light, glare or radiation. The lightweight plastic unit weighs 150 grams and operates on a replaceable built-in battery. It replaces paper and pens for everyday creative play.

Sustained Use Without Charging or Consumables

The tablet’s built-in battery lasts approximately six months and supports up to 100000 erase cycles before replacement is needed. There is no charging port or power cable required during that period. Pressure-sensitive technology creates lines of varying thickness based on how hard the user presses with the included marker or a fingernail. A single button clears the screen in one second, and a lock switch prevents accidental erasure.

Silent Operation and Minimal Power Draw

The device has no fan, motor or moving parts, so it runs completely silently in normal use. Power consumption is limited to the low-energy LCD and the coin-cell battery that drives it. The plastic casing remains at room temperature during extended drawing sessions. No heat, noise or radiation is produced, making it suitable for quiet environments such as cars or classrooms.

Questions about this item

Does the 150-gram tablet generate any heat or noise during all-day use?

The LCD drawing board has no moving parts and no power draw while drawing, so it stays silent and cool even after hours of continuous play.

What must I already own for the Genialba 8.5-inch board to work out of the box?

Nothing extra is required; the built-in replaceable battery is pre-installed and rated for about 100000 erase cycles, so the tablet works immediately.

Can my older child still use the same marker on this board if they press harder or lighter?

Yes, the pressure-sensitive surface creates thicker or thinner coloured lines depending on how hard the marker or a fingernail presses, just like paper.
