Compact 2 TB NVMe Mini PC

This GenMachine barebone unit ships with a Ryzen 5 3550H processor, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB M.2 2280 NVMe drive. It runs Windows 11 Pro and uses integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics to drive up to two 4K displays via HDMI and DisplayPort.

Home office and media users

The system suits buyers who need a quiet, space-saving desktop for productivity, streaming or light creative work. It does not meet the needs of users who require a discrete GPU, more than 32 GB of memory, or additional video outputs beyond the single HDMI and single DisplayPort provided.

32 GB memory ceiling

The platform supports a maximum of 32 GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM. If your workload demands more memory than this limit, this barebone cannot accommodate it and a different platform will be required.

Questions about this item

Will the AMD Ryzen 5 3550H work with my existing DDR4 SODIMM sticks?

The system supports DDR4 memory up to 32 GB in dual-channel mode; install matching sticks in both slots to enable the 85 % performance gain cited for 16 GB dual-channel versus single-channel.

How can I confirm the Radeon Vega 8 graphics are driving two 4K displays at 4096 x 2160?

Open Windows Display Settings — both the HDMI and DP outputs should show 4096 x 2160 as the recommended resolution with the Radeon Vega 8 adapter name listed.

Does the barebone include the 2 TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD and 16 GB DDR4, or must I buy them separately?

This unit ships with 16 GB DDR4 and a 2 TB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD already installed; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse need to be added.
