Ready-to-run mini PC for office

This GenMachine barebone arrives with Windows 11 installed, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe drive so it can start handling productivity, streaming and casual design tasks straight away. The AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor provides eight cores and sixteen threads for responsive multitasking in a compact silver chassis. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 keep wireless peripherals and networks running smoothly.

Eight-core CPU with 4.5 GHz boost decides fit

The Ryzen 7 5825U reaches 4.5 GHz on its highest core and integrates Radeon Vega 8 graphics, making it suitable for everyday workloads and light gaming but not for sustained heavy compute or modern AAA titles. Dual-channel memory support allows the fitted 16 GB to run at full bandwidth, and the board can accept up to 32 GB if you need more capacity later. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or higher multi-threaded throughput should look elsewhere.

Passive-friendly thermals and modest power draw

The 7 nm FinFET chip runs cool enough for the small enclosure to stay quiet during typical office loads, with fan noise only rising under prolonged maximum turbo. Power consumption stays modest thanks to the efficient mobile architecture and the single 1 Gbps LAN port. Two HDMI outputs and one USB-C with DisplayPort alt-mode drive multiple displays without adding a separate graphics card.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.5 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 7 5825U affect everyday workloads?

The 8-core, 16-thread processor reaches 4.5 GHz under load, giving quick response in office apps, design tools and light gaming without needing a large tower.

What display bandwidth does the USB Type-C port with DP support provide?

The single Type-C port carries DisplayPort video and data, letting you drive an external monitor alongside the two HDMI outputs for a three-screen setup.

What are the physical limits for adding or replacing the M.2 NVMe drive?

The board accepts one M.2 NVMe SSD; the installed 512 GB unit can be swapped for a larger stick, but no second M.2 slot is present.
