RF page turner for e-readers and tablets
The GEVO KD-01 clips onto Kindle Paperwhite, Oasis, Scribe, Colorsoft, Kobo, iPad, iPhone and Android tablets. Radio frequency control works at 30 meters without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth pairing. A 0.45in sensor clip fits cases up to .8 inches thick so protective covers stay on. The remote weighs .109 kg and charges via USB-C.
Replaces touchscreen swipes and voice commands
Readers who want hands-free page turns while eating, exercising or lying down gain instant forward and backward control. The jump is worth it when gloves, wet fingers or a bulky case make direct touch unreliable. Photographers also get a camera shutter button for selfies and group shots without a timer.
Clip-and-go install with one common snag
Slide the sensor onto the device edge, power on the remote and pages turn immediately. The reinforced clip accommodates most rugged cases up to 20 mm without removal. The only frequent issue is accidental activation if the wheel brushes against bedding or clothing; storing the remote in the supplied leather pouch prevents this.

Questions about this item
How thick a case can the 0.45in clip accommodate?
The reinforced clip fits protective cases up to 20mm (0.8 inches) thick, so you can keep most rugged covers on your Kindle or tablet while the sensor grips the capacitive screen without scratching.
What is the pairing step for the RF remote and sensor?
No pairing is required; the radio-frequency link works instantly. Clip the sensor onto the device, slide the wheel on the finger-worn remote, and pages turn forward up to 30 meters away.
How is the built-in battery recharged and how often?
A USB-C cable is included; plug it into any 5V source to recharge the lithium-ion polymer cell. Typical reading sessions last weeks per charge, and the remote stores in the supplied leather pouch between uses.
