Everyday melamine bowls

This Gibson Home Rockabye set contains four 8.5 inch dinner bowls in a green finish with brown trim. The melamine construction resists chips and cracking during daily handling. They are intended for family meals, children's parties, or outdoor dining where breakage is a concern.

Sustained use with heat limits

The bowls are top-rack dishwasher safe for repeated cleaning cycles without warping. Melamine cannot be microwaved, so reheating food requires a separate container. This constraint applies every time a hot meal is served, making the set unsuitable for cook-serve-reheat workflows.

Chip-resistant build with storage stack

The brown-trimmed edges add visual contrast while the material withstands knocks that would shatter ceramic. Four identical bowls stack neatly in a cupboard, reducing the footprint needed for a full place setting. The lightweight design simplifies carrying stacks to a patio or picnic table.

Questions about this item

Will the melamine bowls stay cool and quiet when left on the table all day?

Melamine does not generate heat or noise, so the bowls remain at room temperature and silent during extended use.

What appliances do I already need to clean the set properly?

A dishwasher with a top rack is required; the bowls are not microwave safe and must be washed in the upper rack only.

Can I stack these 8.5 inch green bowls with my older ceramic dishes without chipping?

The chip resistant melamine body and brown trim edge are designed to withstand contact with harder tableware during storage.
