A four-piece wheat-straw dinnerware set

The Gibson NTWSP005 set contains four square plates made from wheat straw fibres and food-grade PP. They are BPA-free and non-toxic, offering a chemical-free alternative to traditional plastic dinnerware. The contemporary floral design in white suits everyday family meals and casual entertaining.

Fits straight into existing cupboards

Each plate is lightweight and stackable, so the set occupies minimal shelf space and keeps cabinets tidy. The material is shatterproof, removing the risk of broken ceramics around children. Microwave use is supported at 120 °C for up to 3 minutes, and cleaning is handled on the top rack of a dishwasher.

Suits households wanting reusable, kid-safe plates

Families seeking a durable, odour-resistant option for daily use, picnics or camping will find the set practical. Buyers who need a larger service for bigger gatherings or who prefer oven-safe dinnerware should look at other ranges.

Questions about this item

How long can the wheat-straw plates stay in the microwave at 120°C?

The manufacturer rates them for up to 3 minutes at 120°C, so reheating leftovers or warming a child’s portion stays within the tested limit.

Will the plates get too hot to handle or warp after daily microwave and dishwasher cycles?

They are top-rack dishwasher safe and microwave tested at 120 °C for 3 minutes; the material resists warping and stays cool enough to pick up after short reheats.

Do I need a microwave and a dishwasher to use this set?

No. The plates work for cold meals, picnics or camping without any appliances; microwave and top-rack dishwasher use are optional conveniences.
