What It Is

The GIDERWEL ZC05M is a 16.4ft flexible LED strip with 300 SMD5050 diodes producing RGB plus cool white light. It is designed for indoor accent use such as under cabinets, living rooms or seasonal displays and runs on 12V DC.

Interface Limits

The strip itself carries only the LED emitters; a separate RGBW controller and 12V power supply must be purchased to operate it. Control options depend on the chosen controller and include 2.4G, ZigBee 3.0, Wi-Fi or DMX with app and voice support where the controller allows.

Capacity And Headroom

At 60 LEDs per metre the strip draws roughly 20 watts, so a 60W 12V adapter provides comfortable headroom. The 10mm width fits standard channels, but the single 5m reel cannot be extended without additional strips and matching controllers.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16.4ft strip or a shorter length for my cabinets?

The 16.4ft roll contains 300 SMD5050 LEDs at 60 per metre, so you can cut it at the marked points to fit any cabinet run and keep the rest for other areas.

What does the 20 watt rating mean once the strip is installed?

At 12 V the strip draws roughly 20 watts, so a 60 watt DC12V supply will run it with headroom and keep the LEDs at full brightness.

How does the 2.4G wireless control work and what does it limit?

The strip itself is passive; you add a 2.4G RGBW controller (sold separately) which pairs with the Smart Life app and voice assistants for colour, brightness and mode changes.
