Socket AM4 foundation

The GIGABYTE A520M DS3H is a micro-ATX motherboard built around the AMD A520 chipset for Socket AM4 processors. It supports Ryzen 5000 series and 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs, including models with integrated Radeon graphics. A 5+3 phase digital PWM design delivers stable power to the processor. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots accept up to 128 GB of dual-channel memory.

Expansion and storage layout

One PCIe 3.0 x16 slot handles a discrete graphics card while two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots provide room for add-in cards. A single M.2 socket 3 M-key connector takes 2242, 2260 or 2280 drives with either SATA or PCIe 3.0 x4 and x2 NVMe signalling.
