15.6" 4K AMOLED creator laptop

The GIGABYTE AERO 15 YD-73US624SP pairs an Intel Core i7-11800H with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU for colour-critical work and high-resolution gaming. Its 15.6 inch Samsung AMOLED panel covers 100% DCI-P3 and meets VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black. Factory X-Rite and Pantone validation targets professional photo and video pipelines. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed.

Sustained load with Max-Q 105W GPU

The RTX 3080 Laptop GPU runs at a 1245 MHz boost clock with a 105W max graphics power envelope under NVIDIA Max-Q tuning. Eight-core Tiger Lake silicon reaches 4.6 GHz turbo across 24 MB L3 cache during extended renders. Sixteen GB DDR4 and a 1 TB Gen4 SSD keep data flowing without throttling the 60 Hz 4K panel. DLSS acceleration helps maintain frame rates in heavy creative workloads.

Standard chassis, no user RAM upgrades beyond 64GB

The 14.00 by 9.80 by 0.78 inch black chassis weighs 4.40 lbs and uses a non-touch AMOLED lid. Memory slots support up to 64 GB total, so the shipping 16 GB can be expanded later. Gen4 SSD installs in the primary M.2 slot without adapter brackets. Thin bezels leave minimal hinge clearance; opening from the centre reduces panel stress.

Questions about this item

How loud does the RTX 3080 Max-Q 105W GPU get when the laptop runs all day?

The RTX 3080 Laptop GPU has a Max Graphics Power of 105W with Max-Q efficiency tuning. Fan behaviour depends on workload and ambient temperature; sustained loads will spin fans higher.

What extra parts do I need to start using the 15.6" 4K AMOLED panel at 3840 x 2160?

Nothing extra. The 15.6" Samsung AMOLED display with 100% DCI-P3 and VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black is built in and driven by the RTX 3080 Laptop GPU.

Can I connect my older 60 Hz monitor to the RTX 3080 while the 4K OLED runs at 60 Hz?

Yes. The RTX 3080 Laptop GPU supports multiple external displays; an older 60 Hz panel will work alongside the internal 60 Hz 4K AMOLED screen.
