AORUS 16X gaming laptop with 14-core i7-13650HX

The GIGABYTE AORUS 16X 9KG-43USC54SH-R is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7-13650HX processor with 14 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.90 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU provides 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory and operates at a boost clock of 2370 MHz with a maximum graphics power of 140 W. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Compatibility checklist before purchase

Verify that your workflow can use a 16.0-inch WQXGA IPS panel running at 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time. The display covers 100 % sRGB at 400 nits brightness and is not a touchscreen. The chassis measures 14.02 inches wide by 10.00 inches deep and ranges from .79 to 1.06 inches thick, weighing 5.07 lbs. The platform includes two M.2 slots supporting PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe drives, so plan storage expansion accordingly.

Build integration notes

The RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with 140 W maximum graphics power drives the internal 165 Hz panel and can feed external displays through the laptop's native video outputs. The 14-core Raptor Lake CPU with 24 MB L3 cache handles multithreaded workloads while the 16 GB DDR5 memory supports current gaming and productivity titles. Two M.2 slots free you from the single-drive limit, allowing a second PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD to be added without removing the factory 1 TB drive. The Midnight Gray chassis fits standard 16-inch laptop bags and sleeves.
