12 GB GDDR6 graphics card

The GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3060 ELITE 12G is a desktop graphics card built on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture. It integrates 12 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit interface and uses a WINDFORCE 3X cooling system with alternate spinning fans. A metal back plate adds structural rigidity and a RGB Fusion 2.0 implementation provides configurable lighting.

Suits 1080p and 1440p gaming builds

This card suits builders targeting 1080p or 1440p gaming who want 12 GB of video memory and a triple-fan cooler in a mid-range form factor. The 2nd Generation RT Cores and 3rd Generation Tensor Cores accelerate supported rendering and AI workloads. Buyers needing higher frame rates at 4K or more memory bandwidth should evaluate higher-tier models.

12 GB 192-bit memory decides fit

The 12 GB 192-bit GDDR6 configuration is the specification that determines whether this card matches your workload. It defines the texture and asset capacity available at 1440p and entry-level 4K. Verify that your power supply delivers the required connectors and that your chassis accommodates a triple-slot design before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What power connectors does the RTX 3060 ELITE 12G need from my PSU?

The card draws power through a standard 8-pin PCIe connector; ensure your power supply includes one and can deliver the total system wattage.

Will the triple-fan cooler and metal back plate fit in a mid-tower case with older drives installed?

The WINDFORCE 3X cooler occupies three expansion slots; measure from the motherboard bracket to the drive cage to confirm clearance before buying.

How can I verify the 12GB GDDR6 memory is running at the correct 192-bit width after driver installation?

Open GPU-Z or the NVIDIA control panel; the memory bus width should read 192-bit and the dedicated video memory 12GB.
