AORUS SUPREME 5 Gaming Desktop

The GIGABYTE AS5A7N8-5001 is a factory-built gaming desktop finished in a black mid-tower case with a tempered glass side panel. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and is marketed as AI Ready for consumer gaming and entertainment use in 2025.

Buyers who want a complete high-end system

This PC suits buyers who want a complete high-end system with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, 64 GB DDR5 memory and a 2 TB Gen5 NVMe SSD all assembled and warranted as one unit. It is not for builders who prefer to select and install each component themselves, nor for users who need a chassis that supports custom open-loop liquid cooling.

Storage uses AORUS Gen5 14000 SSD

The boot drive is an AORUS Gen5 14000 SSD rated for sequential speeds up to 14000 MB/s, so the single specification that decides fit is whether the buyer needs that level of NVMe throughput for large game libraries or content-creation workloads.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64 GB DDR5 5600 configuration or a smaller kit?

The system ships with 64 GB DDR5 5600 installed and supports up to 256 GB, so the factory kit already fills half the maximum capacity and leaves four slots free for future expansion.

What does the 16 GB GDDR7 on the RTX 5080 actually deliver in games?

16 GB of GDDR7 feeds the RTX 5080 enough high-speed frame-buffer memory to hold 4K textures and ray-tracing data without swapping, keeping frame rates stable at max quality settings.

How fast is the AORUS Gen5 14000 SSD over the PCIe Gen5 interface?

The drive is rated for 14000 MB/s sequential throughput on the platform's Gen5 lanes, so large game loads and asset streaming hit the practical ceiling of the current consumer storage standard.
