Micro-ATX AM4 board with dual M.2 slots, PCIe 4.0 x16, four DDR4 slots up to 128 GB and Realtek GbE LAN
Model B550M K
This GIGABYTE B550M K motherboard uses the AMD B550 chipset on a Micro-ATX form factor. It accepts AMD Ryzen 3000 Series, 4000G Series, 5000 Series and 5000G Series processors in the AM4 socket. Four DDR4 slots support up to 128GB of dual-channel memory at 3200MHz with XMP 2.0 profiles.
The primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and the CPU-linked M.2 connector run at PCIe 4.0 only with Ryzen 3000 or 5000 Series CPUs. Ryzen 4000G and 5000G Series processors limit these to PCIe 3.0. Verify your processor choice matches the storage and graphics bandwidth you need.
A 4+2 phase digital twin power design with low RDS(on) MOSFETs feeds the CPU. Two M.2 slots accept 2280 SSDs; one connects to the CPU, the other to the chipset. Realtek GbE LAN provides 1Gbps networking. RGB Fusion 2.0 headers drive addressable and standard LED strips. Q-Flash Plus updates the BIOS without a CPU installed.

Other versions of this model
The board includes the motherboard, I/O shield, SATA cables and driver disc. You must supply an AM4 Ryzen 3000/4000G/5000/5000G CPU, DDR4 DIMMs, storage drives and a graphics card if the processor lacks integrated graphics.
Use the M2A_CPU slot wired to the CPU; with a Ryzen 5000 or 3000 series chip it runs at PCIe 4.0 x4, while 4000G/5000G series CPUs limit it to PCIe 3.0 x4.
With a Ryzen 5000 or 3000 series processor the primary x16 slot operates at PCIe 4.0 x16; with a 4000G or 5000G series APU it drops to PCIe 3.0 x16.
