2U barebone server supporting one AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 CPU, 12 DDR5 DIMM slots and up to eight dual-slot Gen5 GPUs
This 2U barebones server supports up to eight dual-slot PCIe Gen5 GPUs with integrated PCIe switches for high-throughput workloads. A single AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processor drives twelve DDR5 RDIMM channels across twelve DIMM slots. Dual ROM architecture and dual 10 Gb/s LAN ports via Broadcom BCM57416 complete the core infrastructure.
Suited for teams building dense GPU farms for large-model training or simulation where eight accelerators must share one CPU complex. Not suited for workloads needing multi-socket CPU scaling, more than twelve memory channels, or storage density beyond eight 2.5-inch hot-swap bays.
The defining limit is the eight dual-slot PCIe Gen5 GPU slots enabled by on-board PCIe switches. If the workload requires more than eight accelerators or a different GPU form factor, this chassis cannot accommodate it.
