A 2U barebone server supporting a single AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 processor with 24 DDR5 DIMM slots and four full-height GPU slots
This 2U rackmount barebone is built around a single AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processor. It provides twelve DDR5 channels populated through twenty-four DIMM slots. The chassis includes twelve hot-swap bays that accept 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives with NVMe, SATA or SAS-4 interfaces. Two M.2 slots use a PCIe Gen3 x2 connection.
The system targets workloads that need up to four dual-slot GPUs with full PCIe Gen5 x16 bandwidth in a compact 2U form factor. An additional full-height half-length PCIe Gen5 x16 slot is available for networking or storage expansion. Buyers who need dual-socket scaling or more than four GPU slots should consider other platforms.
The platform supports only one AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 processor, which fixes the maximum core count, memory capacity and PCIe lane budget at the single-socket limit. This specification determines whether the server fits the intended workload.

Each of the four full-height full-length slots runs at PCIe Gen5 x16, giving every installed GPU the full 16-lane bandwidth.
The unit fits a standard 2U rack opening; ensure the cabinet provides enough depth for the 12 front drive bays and the rear GPU zone.
Fill the 12 memory channels sequentially — one DIMM per channel first, then add the second DIMM to each channel, following the silkscreen numbering.
