Mini-ITX AM5 board with 110A power stages, dual DDR5 slots up to 128GB, PCIe 5.0 x16, two M.2 slots, WIFI7, 2.5GbE LAN and front plus rear USB-C
The GIGABYTE X870I AORUS PRO ICE fits a full AM5 platform into a Mini-ITX footprint. It accepts Ryzen 9000 8000 and 7000 series processors in the LGA 1718 socket. Two 288-pin DDR5 slots support up to 128 GB in dual-channel mode with AMD EXPO profiles. The 8+2+1 phase VRM uses 110A smart power stages for stable delivery.
The primary M.2 slot and the x16 graphics slot run at PCIe 5.0 only when a Ryzen 9000 or 7000 CPU is installed. With Ryzen 8000 series processors both interfaces drop to PCIe 4.0 x8 and x4 respectively. The rear panel includes one USB4 Type-C port and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port alongside two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. WIFI7 and 2.5 GbE LAN handle networking.
M.2 EZ-Latch removes the tiny retaining screw so the drive clicks into place. PCIe EZ-Latch releases the graphics card with a single lever press. Wi-Fi EZ-Plug snaps the antenna cables onto the module without threading. The EZ-Debug zone shows POST codes for quick fault finding. Remember that the CPU generation decides whether the board runs at PCIe 5.0 or 4.0 speeds.

The board accepts up to 128 GB across its two 288-pin DDR5 slots, so choose a matched kit that fits your workload and budget.
With a Ryzen 9000 or 7000 processor the slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x16; with an 8000-series Phoenix 1 chip it drops to PCIe 4.0 x8, and Phoenix 2 runs at PCIe 4.0 x4.
The USB4 Type-C port supports DisplayPort alternate mode and USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds, while the second Type-C port is limited to USB 3.2 Gen 2.
