MicroSDHC Card for Continuous Recording

This 8 GB microSDHC card uses MLC flash rated for ten times the endurance of standard cards, making it suitable for dash cams, security cameras and other devices that write video continuously. The package includes a full-size SD adapter and a small storage case.

Sustained Write Performance

Sequential write speed reaches 15 MB/s, which is sufficient for Full HD video streams during long recording sessions. The card is built to withstand water, shock, temperature extremes and X-ray exposure, helping it survive the constant cycling of always-on cameras.

8 GB Capacity Constraint

Only 8 GB of storage is available, so the card fills quickly at high bit-rates and requires frequent off-loading or overwriting. Buyers who need more storage for multi-day retention should consider a higher-capacity model.

Questions about this item

How hot does the 85MB/s MicroSD get during continuous dash-cam recording?

The card is rated temperature-proof, shockproof, waterproof and X-ray proof for constant Full HD video capture.

Does my dash cam need a UHS-I slot to use this Class 10 U3 card?

The card follows the microSDHC UHS-I standard and includes a full-size SD adapter for devices that take standard SD cards.

Will the 8GB MLC card keep working in an older security camera that only supports Class 10?

Yes, it carries Class 10 and U3 ratings, so it is backward compatible with equipment that requires Class 10 minimum speed.
