Built for Gaming and Streaming

The Apollo 5M1-24 is a tower desktop that pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 processor with Intel ARC A380 graphics. It ships with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz memory and a 2TB PCIe M.2 drive. Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi, a USB keyboard and mouse are included so the system is ready to use immediately.

Upgrading from Older Desktops

This PC replaces ageing systems that struggle with modern titles or multitasking. The jump is worthwhile when your current machine lacks a dedicated GPU, runs on mechanical storage, or has less than 16GB of memory. Builders who need more than 2TB of fast storage or a higher-tier graphics card should look elsewhere.

Straightforward Component Access

The chassis features magnetic dust filters and removable side panels for easy interior access. Drive bays are designed for simple storage additions. Installing extra memory or a larger graphics card may be limited by the 500W power supply and the available physical clearance inside the case.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions and clearance needed for the Apollo-5M1-24 tower case?

The Apollo-5M1-24 uses a standard tower form factor. Allow space for rear I/O cables and front airflow. Magnetic dust filters on the front and top need a few centimetres of clearance to pull out for cleaning.

How is the 2TB PCIe M.2 drive installed, and what step is often missed?

The 2TB PCIe M.2 drive comes pre-installed in the motherboard M.2 slot with a retaining screw. The step often missed is ensuring the motherboard standoff is correctly positioned for the drive length before securing it.

What maintenance will the air cooling and magnetic dust filters need later?

Clean the magnetic dust filters every few months by pulling them off and rinsing or vacuuming. The CPU air cooler heatsink fins should be dusted with compressed air annually to maintain thermal performance for the Ryzen 5 5500.
