SFF gaming desktop with RTX 5050

The Gigatech Gaming Nova 3 is a micro-tower desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 3200 memory in a four-module configuration, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, a 500 W power supply and Windows 11 Home. A 24-inch 75 Hz monitor with 1 ms latency and Adaptive-Sync is included, along with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Suited for 1080p gaming and multitasking

This system fits players who want a ready-to-use rig for modern titles at 1080p resolution and creators who need 32 GB of memory for streaming or light content work. The four installed memory modules leave two slots free for later expansion up to 256 GB. Buyers who require more than 8 GB of video memory for high-resolution textures or who need a higher-wattage power supply for future GPU upgrades should consider other options.

RTX 5050 with 8 GB GDDR6 decides fit

The graphics card provides 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCI Express x16 interface and is marked VR ready, which determines whether the Nova 3 can handle your target games and applications at the desired settings. If your workload demands more video memory or a different GPU tier, this specification makes the system unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Is the 32GB DDR4 3200MHz memory kit using all four slots or leaving room to add more?

The system ships with four 8GB modules filling every slot, so expanding later means replacing modules rather than adding to empty ones.

What frame-rate headroom does the GeForce RTX 5050 8GB GDDR6 give at 1080p on the bundled 24-inch 75Hz monitor?

The card targets smooth 1080p gaming and the monitor refreshes at 75Hz, so expect playable frame rates in modern titles without exceeding the panel's limit.

Does the PCI Express x16 slot run at full Gen 4 speed for the RTX 5050 or is it limited by the Ryzen 5 5500 platform?

The Ryzen 5 5500 supports PCIe 3.0, so the graphics card operates at Gen 3 x16 bandwidth rather than the newer Gen 4 standard.
