Two-piece wrist rest set

The Gimars GM-116 set includes a keyboard wrist rest and a mouse pad with an integrated wrist rest, both finished in black. The two pieces are sized at 17.4 by 9.3 by 2.5 inches overall, with the mouse pad section measuring 10 by 8.6 by 1 inch and the keyboard rest at 17 by 3 by 1 inch. The set weighs 0.31 kilograms and is intended for office workers and gaming enthusiasts who want ergonomic support during long sessions.

Surface and base limits

The top layer uses a superfine fibre fabric that provides a smooth glide for mouse movement. A memory foam core gives slow-rebound cushioning that resists permanent deformation. The underside is a rubber base with a grooved pattern designed to keep the pads from sliding on the desk. The set is not waterproof, so liquid spills can damage the foam and fabric.

Installation and common issues

Installation is straightforward: place the keyboard rest in front of the keyboard and the mouse pad beside it on a clean, flat surface. The rubber base grips most desks without adhesives. Edges are double-stitched to prevent rolling or splitting, but the fabric can fray if pulled aggressively. Buyers who need a single continuous desk mat covering the whole workspace will find the two-piece layout leaves a gap between the pads.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the larger keyboard rest or the smaller mouse-pad rest for my desk?

The set includes both pieces: a keyboard wrist pad measuring 17 by 3 by 1 inches and a mouse pad with wrist rest measuring 10 by 8.6 by 1 inches, so you receive the full combination in one package.

What does the 2.5-inch overall thickness mean when the set is on my desk?

The combined stack height is 2.5 inches; each individual pad is 1 inch thick, giving firm memory-foam support while keeping your hands level with standard keyboard and mouse profiles.

How does the rubber base perform on a smooth desktop?

The non-skid rubber bottom with grooved texture grips the surface and prevents the pads from sliding during typing or fast mouse movements.
