Two-Piece Clamping Collar

The Global G2SC-187-SS is a two-piece clamping collar designed for sports memorabilia and collectible displays. It suits collectors who want a secure, transparent fastening component for mounting or arranging items in a showcase.

Proposition 65 Compliance

This product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers in California should review the notice before purchase, while users elsewhere may treat it as a general material disclosure.

Simple Installation

The two-piece design allows the collar to be fitted around an existing shaft or rod without disassembly. Misalignment during tightening can reduce clamping force, so ensure both halves seat evenly before final torque.

Questions about this item

How do I know which size of the G2SC-187-SS clamping collar to select?

The model number 187 identifies the specific bore size for this two-piece collar; match it to your shaft diameter for the correct fit.

What does the Proposition 65 warning mean once the collar is installed in my equipment?

The collar contains a chemical listed by California as a cancer and reproductive-harm risk; normal industrial handling does not change that classification.

What standard governs the two-piece clamping design and what load does it limit?

The split two-piece style clamps around the shaft without disassembly, and its holding power is limited by the screw torque and shaft finish.
